The Computer-assisted Learning in Pediatrics Program (CLIPP) is a comprehensive Internet-based learning program for use by third-year medical students during their pediatric clerkship. CLIPP's 31 interactive virtual patient cases are designed to cover all of the core content of the curriculum of the Council on Medical Student Education in Pediatrics (COMSEP). The CLIPP cases have been widely accepted by Pediatric Educators, with use in more than 80 medical schools in the U.S. and Canada, and more than 100,000 case sessions completed by students.

This program was designed by a radiologist and an educator and is intended for use as a rapid review for Radiology Board examination preparation, but can be used as a teaching resource or refresher for the practicing radiologist. It includes a collection of multiple pediatric cases, all of which have been pathologically proven. You can set the level of difficulty by “allowing” as much ancillary clinical information as you like. Each case includes the raw images and “mouseover” annotation to point out the findings. The correct diagnosis is included at the end of each case. To use the program as a resource, the search engine asks you to choose from the modalities and body systems menus or to enter key words to retrieve good examples of a certain disease.
