1. First level: emergency staffed by paediatricians and (2) generalists
2. Second level: referrals to general paediatricians
3. Third level: subspecialties (without valid certification nor protection although most practitioners have been trained abroad and some have a certificate from that country.

Practice first and second level, the hospital in Kirchberg develops some third level activity.

•  Paediatricians in town

Develop first or second level activity, mostly in a liberal setting, at home. They are not involved in national programs for children's welfare. Only few attend day care centres.
